Testosterone is the male sex hormone which is responsible for growth as well as to maintain the sex drive in males. This hormone is present in female bodies also, but in small quantities. There are many factors that affect the production of testosterone in the body, stress is one of them.

In today’s fast paced lifestyle, very few people are able to keep stress away. Stress, when not handled properly, manifests itself into different types of diseases, including low testosterone levels. Living under constant stress is not good for the body and in the long term, it might lead to health issues like:

Now we see that stress is the main culprit behind low testosterone levels and the problems it brings. Hence, stress management becomes very important for maintaining testosterone levels and living a healthy life.

It has been observed that people experience better sexual life during vacations; this is because they are low on stress and testosterone levels are automatically high. Of course, we cannot be on holiday all the time, but we can include some daily activities in our routine to avoid and manage stress.

Other than that, physical exercises like dead lifts, bench presses, lunges, squats and other muscle building exercises help increase testosterone.

Also, consuming zinc in the form of diet or supplements also supports testosterone growth in the body. Last, but not the least, sufficient sleep and lots of water are the best and most convenient ways to keep your testosterone level into normal limits.
